Order in the next 0: Power Rating 8 Ohms: Kanual 5 out of 5 by The Chief from Awesome power for the money I was surprised by the performance and quality of the EP The reviews for the EP were all positive, but I was determined not to be swayed by the reviews.
The amp weighs over 50lbs, that means that it is made for heavy duty use. When I powered it up, it was quiet -no humming- and provided ample power for the 15in JBL behrinver and crystal clear. I put this amp through the test for two weeks straight, and it still sounds and works great. I will buy another EP soon. Rated 1 out of 5 mwnual Colin S. Simple thermodynamics will tell you this amp must be well under W.
I used it to attempt to drive one and then two buttkickers, with very poor results. I didn’t have balanced inputs, but I did follow wiring directions for unbalanced input. Then Guittamer finally came through on their backorders and I was able to get the original buttkicker amp- wow what a difference!! This may work well for speakers, but gets a minimal rating from me for maual false advertising.
Rated 5 out of 5 by ItsDigital from You can always turn it down! I already own two EP’s, so it was no surprise that the EP was all of that and more.
Ep0400 run a couple of Peavey 18 bass bins wired in series with the amp in bridged mono mode. Built like a tank, quiet, with plenty of power and headroom to spare.
This was a perfect addition to my rig. I would also like to note that they changed the color from the ‘s, the new case is a dark charcoal gray, not black like the originals. No big deal, but it’s hard to see that in the photos. Rated 5 out of 5 by Robbie D from A lot of power for a little cash I do sound for live Gospel concerts and I found out that this amp can handle any engagement wether large or small.
