I loved how Marianne learns to endear herself to the clan, and learn their ways and tries to cultivate it into her life so that she can be accepted as one of them.

What we have here is a love story that starts off with mistrusts and not the best circumstances, but we also see how these two try to do everything that they can to make their marriage work, and learn the values of patience and communication. Is this the same Sir Henry from Book 4? Trivia About Bride of Lochbarr Bianjie rated it liked it S;osa 12, I used to read her all the time, but I lost touch with her the past couple of years.
She doesn’t want to go but once it’s found out Adair is in her room, her brother tries Scotland So we have Adair the braw Scot who notices Marianne at her brother Nicholas’ castle while trying to find things out about the Normans. The tempting Norman lady lured slosa like a siren — yet he had no wish to be rescued. This was a re-read for me and I’m not sure it held up to my memories of awesomeness.
